This document is an introduction to the Cement Coated Wirewound Resistors W30 Series, including information such as maximum dimensions, weight, power range, temperature range, resistance range, temperature coefficient of resistance, rated voltage, etc.
The W230 series cement‑coated wirewound resistors are built on a high‑quality ceramic substrate with interference‑fit end caps, welded element winding and termination wires, and a moisture‑tight seal. The body is resistant to shock, vibration, fungus, salt spray and industrial cleaning solvents, and the coating is flame‑proof.
Electrical specifications include power ratings of 3 W at 25 °C and 2.5 W at 70 °C, resistance values from 0.01 Ω to 10 kΩ, 1 % tolerance, and a limiting element voltage of 100 V (voltage proof up to 500 V). The resistors operate over an ambient temperature range of –55 °C to 155 °C and meet IEC termination standards. Ordering details, packaging options, and performance data are also provided.
