About this manual

The SINEAX V 604 is a programmable universal transmitter for DC currents, voltages, temperature sensors, remote sensors or potentiometers. It converts the input variable to a proportional analogue output signal, either an impressed current or a superimposed voltage, and supports a wide range of measuring ranges and power supply tolerances.

The device is programmed via a PC using an RS‑232 interface, the PRKAB 600 programming cable and the VC 600 software. It includes self‑monitoring, open‑circuit sensor supervision, configurable output channels, and optional intrinsic‑safety protection.

Frequently asked questions

What does the green LED indicate?

The green LED is continuously lit in normal operation and flashes when an open‑circuit sensor is detected or the measured variable is out of range.

What are the power supply requirements for the transmitter?

The transmitter accepts a power supply of 20 V to 264 V DC or AC, with polarity not critical.
