C200 series calorimeter system is designed for laboratory combustion calorific value measurement of liquid and solid samples, which can meet the requirements of various laboratory.
The IKA C200 Calorimeter System is designed for educational, teaching and industrial laboratory use. It offers four test procedures— isoperibol, dynamic, manual (isoperibol) and time‑controlled— to suit a variety of measurement tasks, and provides clear, self‑explanatory operation via its display. The system can be powered worldwide (100‑240 V AC, 50/60 Hz) and runs on a low 24 V DC operating voltage.
The system includes a basic measuring cell, power pack, ignition adaptor, decomposition vessel, oxygen station and optional accessories such as combustion crucibles, venting stations and software (CalWin®). It features serial (RS‑232) and parallel (Centronics) interfaces, a protection class according to DIN EN 60529, and a measurement range up to 40 000 J (≈4 K temperature rise).
| Maximum measurement range | 40 000 J (≈4 K temperature rise) |
|---|---|
| Input voltage | 100‑240 V AC, 50/60 Hz |
| Measuring time (isoperibol) | ≈17 min |
| Measuring time (dynamic) | ≈8 min |
| Measuring time (time‑controlled) | ≈14 min |
| Interfaces | 1× serial (RS‑232), 1× parallel (Centronics) |
| Protection class | According to DIN EN 60529 |
Four different test procedures are available: isoperibol, dynamic, manual (isoperibol) and time‑controlled.
A measurement in dynamic mode takes approximately 8 minutes.
The system provides one serial RS‑232 port and one parallel Centronics port.
The C200 can measure up to 40 000 J, which corresponds to about a 4 K temperature increase in the inner vessel.
