This document is the LR9552 GPS module user manual. It introduces the hardware and software features, performance, interface etc. of the module.
The LR9552 is a compact, high‑sensitivity GPS module with a built‑in SiRFStarIII™ receiver. It supports a variety of OEM applications such as handheld devices, automotive and marine navigation, and asset‑tracking systems. The manual describes the module’s architecture, dimensions, environmental limits, and compliance information.
Key sections cover hardware interface options (RS232/TTL), software features, performance characteristics like cold‑start time and reacquisition time, and reference designs for power control. Regulatory compliance (RoHS, FCC, CE) and a glossary of terms are also included.
