Turn the trimmer off, remove the cutting unit, brush off hair, and lubricate the cutting head with a few drops of the supplied oil each month.
Use the removable depth‑guide (zoom ring) and set it to one of the six positions indicated on the guide (2 mm to 17 mm).
Replace the cutting unit if the blades are damaged or worn by unlocking the unit, removing the old head, and snapping the new head into place until it clicks.
