About this manual

The AD7679 is an 18‑bit charge‑redistribution SAR analog‑to‑digital converter that operates from a single 5 V supply. It offers a maximum throughput of 570 kSPS, an INL of ±2.5 LSB, and a dynamic range of 103 dB. The device supports both parallel (8‑, 16‑, or 18‑bit) and 3‑wire serial interfaces compatible with 3 V and 5 V logic levels.

Available in 48‑lead LQFP or LFCSP packages, the AD7679 operates from –40 °C to +85 °C. It includes an on‑board reference buffer, low power dissipation (76 mW @500 kSPS), and pin‑compatible upgrades for AD7674/AD7676/AD7678.
