iPod shuffle 2 is a portable digital music player designed and manufactured by Apple Inc. It was released in September 2005. It is the fifth iPod product, and the first iPod with only one button.
This manual describes the basic functions of the iPod shuffle, including loading songs and podcasts from iTunes, using the device as an external storage drive, and operating the playback controls. It also covers how to connect the iPod shuffle to a computer or dock, and how to safely charge the built‑in battery.
Safety information, regulatory compliance statements, and disposal instructions are provided at the end of the document, along with troubleshooting tips for common issues such as charging indicators and ejecting the device from a computer. This manual is written in Japanese.
Place the iPod shuffle in its dock that is connected to a high‑power USB port; the orange indicator light shows that the battery is charging.
In iTunes, click the eject button next to the iPod shuffle name in the Sources panel.
When the light is orange the battery is charging; when it turns red the battery is fully charged.
