About this manual

The MiniCoder GEL 2443 series is the latest evolution of LENORD+BAUER's GEL 244 sensor line, offering minimized offset values, lower power consumption, an enlarged air gap, and a more robust sensor surface. The new design includes an alternative radial cable outlet and optional 17‑pole connectors or amplitude regulation.

Key mechanical changes include a thicker flange (increased from 3.5 mm to 5 mm) and four standard cable lengths (30 cm, 150 cm, 250 cm, 600 cm). The housing is step‑free for easier integration, and high EMC/ESD stability is achieved through additional shielding, a metal cover, and a separate screen plate. The GEL 2443 can directly replace the earlier GEL 244 series.
