Frequently asked questions
What is the warranty period for the EV3100 converter?
The warranty period is eighteen months from the date of manufacture.
What safety steps must be taken before wiring the converter?
Ensure the power supply is completely disconnected, ground the terminal securely, and avoid mixing input and output terminals to prevent electric shock or fire hazards.
Can I install a capacitor on the output side of the EV3100?
No. Any capacitor or surge‑suppressor on the output side must be removed because it can cause faults or damage the converter.
What brake components are required for different power ratings?
For 30 kW units a brake unit and brake resistor must be installed; for units 22 kW or less the brake unit is built‑in and only an external brake resistor is needed.
