This document describes the Component AV Cable product produced by Apple Inc. The product can connect iPhone to TV and display the video content of iPhone on TV.
The Component AV Cable lets you link your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to the component video and analog audio inputs on a TV, home‑theater receiver, or stereo receiver. It includes a USB connector for power so the device stays charged while in use.
The manual provides safety precautions, such as never forcing a connector into a port, and includes European, Korean, Taiwanese, and other compliance statements along with disposal and recycling information.
| Video connectors | Red, green, blue (Y, Pb, Pr) component video |
|---|---|
| Audio connectors | White and red analog audio (left/right) |
| Dock connector | iPod Dock Connector for iPod, iPhone, iPad, Universal Dock |

Plug the red, green, and blue video connectors into the Y, Pb, and Pr component video inputs, and plug the white and red audio connectors into the left and right analog audio inputs.
You can still use the Component AV Cable for audio output, syncing content, and charging the device.
Connect the USB connector to a USB Power Adapter or to a computer’s USB port to keep the iPod, iPhone, or iPad charged.
Never force a connector into a port; if it does not join with reasonable ease, the connector and port likely do not match.
