First detach the 11 connectors from the CPU PC board, then remove the six screws (SM‑3x5B and FL‑3x5) to lift the board, and reinstall a matching board with the same type and rated fuse.
Turn the power off, then turn it on while holding the [FEED] and [PAUSE] keys to enter RAM CLEAR mode, and follow the on‑screen prompts.
Adjust the VR1 so the voltage between Pin 1 (GND) and Pin 7 of CN10 reads 3.0 ± 0.2 V.
Connect the PC to the printer with an RS‑232C or high‑speed interface, set DIP SW2 on the CPU PC board, insert the download floppy, and run the batch file “PDL” to start transmission.
