Promag 50P, 53P electromagnetic flow meters are used for bidirectional measurement of liquids with a minimum conductivity of ≥ 5 μS/cm. It can be used for acids, alkali solutions, paints, pastes, mashes, water, wastewater, etc. The flow measurement range can be up to 9600 m3/h, the fluid temperature can be up to 180 °C, and the process pressure can be up to 40 bar. It is suitable for hazardous areas and can be connected to HART, PROFIBUS DP/PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, MODBUS RS485 and other control systems.
About this manual
The Proline Promag 50P and 53P are electromagnetic flow measuring systems designed for chemical and process applications. The manual describes the measuring principle, system design, and the two available versions – a compact unit where transmitter and sensor are combined, and a remote version with separate components.
It provides detailed information on inputs, outputs, power supply, and communication interfaces such as HART, PROFIBUS DP/PA, MODBUS RS485, and FOUNDATION Fieldbus, as well as terminal assignments, installation guidelines, and technical specifications.
