The Softing NETLink PRO/ETH is a compact Ethernet communication module that enables PC or PG to access Siemens S7 and S5 PLCs. It supports up to 12 simultaneous PLC connections and can be powered via USB from the controller or an external supply. The device mounts on a DIN rail and offers 10/100 Mbps Ethernet as well as MPI/PROFIBUS up to 12 Mbps.
The package includes the NETLink PRO/ETH unit, a 3 m USB cable, a cross‑over Ethernet cable, and an installation manual. System requirements are a PC or PG running Windows XP/2000 with Ethernet capability. Technical documentation and drivers are available for download from the manufacturer’s website.
