Xinwei Automation AMDG-X/F8 Motor Protector User Manual

The AMDG-X/F8 series motor protector is a powerful motor protection device. In addition to providing relay contact output signals for the motor, it is also equipped with various motor status output signals and fault status input signals. By monitoring faults such as grounding, short circuit, phase loss, stalling, current imbalance, overload, underload, overvoltage, and undervoltage of the motor, the protector can issue warning or alarm signals in a timely manner to ensure the safe operation of the motor.

About this manual

The AMDG‑X/F8 series motor protector provides motor status signal outputs (DI1‑DI5, DO1‑DO5) and optional 4‑20 mA analog outputs for phase currents and voltage. It includes built‑in protection functions such as overload, short‑circuit, ground‑fault, and phase‑loss detection, with configurable timing parameters.

The manual describes the wiring diagram for connecting the protector to the motor and current transformers, the PLC/DCS communication method, and detailed parameter settings for each protection mode. It also explains how to enable the self‑reset function and how to adjust current‑transformer ratings. This manual is written in Chinese.
