AKD4184A is a 4-wire resistive touch screen controller with a built-in keypad scanner, GPIO function, PWM brightness adjustment control circuit and 12-bit successive approximation A/D converter. This evaluation board can be easily evaluated by connecting a 4-wire touch screen to AK4184A.
This manual describes the AKD4184A‑A evaluation board, which integrates a 4‑line resistive touch‑screen controller, a 6×5 matrix keypad, GPIO, PWM brightness control, and a 12‑bit successive‑approximation ADC. The board includes connectors for a touch panel, keypad, analog inputs, and a 25‑pin D‑sub parallel port for PC communication.
Detailed sections cover power supply connections, jumper settings for various functions, reset procedures, and how to use the supplied control software to configure touch‑screen, keypad, GPIO, and LED brightness features. Wiring diagrams, pin‑out tables, and circuit schematics are provided to aid evaluation and development. This manual is written in Japanese.
