Union UM3308 Level Translator Datasheet

UM3308 is an 8-channel bidirectional voltage level translator with auto direction sensing and ±15kV ESD protection. It uses two separate configurable power-supply rails and allows for universal low-voltage bidirectional translation between any of the 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V voltage nodes. The translator is ideal for data transfer between low-voltage ASICs/PLDs and higher voltage systems. It guarantees a data rate of 40Mbps over the entire specified operating voltage range and supports higher data rates up to 100Mbps within specific voltage domains.

Frequently asked questions

What supply voltage ranges are supported for the A and B ports?

The A‑port can handle -0.5 V to +4.5 V (absolute max) and the B‑port -0.5 V to +6.5 V (absolute max).

How is the output‑enable (OE) pin used?

When OE is low, all outputs are placed in a high‑impedance state.

What package does the UM3308 come in?

The device is offered in a CSP20 bump package.
