CO2S infrared CO2 sensor is an innovative product using indium gallium arsenide (NDIR LED technology) gas sensor and system, with fast response, low power and high precision features.
The SCS C02S infrared CO2 sensor uses NDIR LED technology for fast response, low power consumption, and high accuracy. It operates from -25 °C to +55 °C with built‑in temperature compensation and offers both digital RS‑232 and optional analog voltage outputs.
The manual details the sensor's dimensions, power options (5 V or 3.3 V), wiring via Molex connectors, serial communication settings (9600 baud, 8‑N‑1), zero‑point calibration procedures, and advanced features such as filter parameter tuning and full‑scale calibration. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Zero point error (30 s integration) | 30 ppm |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 10 ppm |
| Temperature compensation range | -25 °C to +55 °C |
| Supply voltage | 4.7 V–5.5 V (standard) or 3.3 V–5.5 V optional |
| Average power consumption | < 100 mW (max current 200 mA) |
| Measurement range | 0 ppm–5000 ppm (various % options) |
| Response time (T90) | < 4 s |
| Size | 40 mm × 25 mm × 20 mm |
Apply a low‑level signal to pin 3 for at least 1 s while the sensor is exposed to nitrogen or clean air; the sensor will then send a response indicating successful zero calibration.
The sensor uses 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, with no hardware flow control.
Standard operation uses 5 V DC (4.7 V–5.5 V), and a low‑voltage option of 3.3 V DC (3.3 V–5.5 V) is also available.
