The PCI-16xx series is an industrial‑grade PCI card that adds 2 to 4 RS‑232, RS‑422 or RS‑485 serial ports to a PC. Each port supports high‑speed communication up to 921.6 Kbps and includes 30 kV ESD protection, with optional high‑speed electrical isolation rated at 2500 V DC.
