NEMOTO's sensors can be roughly divided into gas sensors and smoke sensors. About gas sensors According to the type of gas to be detected, the purpose, the use environment, and the required measurement accuracy, the most suitable sensor can be selected. We have sensors with various detection methods and detection principles. Roughly, it can be divided into catalytic combustion type for combustible gas detection, electrochemical type for complex gases such as toxic gases and polluted air, and thermal conduction type sensors for detecting chemically stable gases are our recommended products. Please note that the recommended sensors may be different depending on the concentration of the gas to be detected. We will provide a detailed introduction of the characteristics of each sensor later. In order to select the detection method, the following is a comparison of different gas types and concentrations. Please refer to this for reference to select the appropriate sensor. This reference table is rough, so if you are using it near the borderline, please consult with us. Smoke sensors are not limited by concentration, etc., so we will provide detailed information later.
This manual describes the NAP-21A (and NAP-21AS) gas sensors developed by NEMOTO for measuring CO₂ concentration in greenhouse, indoor air, and other environments. It covers the sensor’s principle, detection methods, and typical applications such as climate control and safety monitoring.
The document includes electrical ratings, environmental limits, gas sensitivity data, and detailed usage guidelines. It also lists the detection ranges for various gases, maintenance recommendations, and contact information for technical support. This manual is written in Japanese.
| Supply voltage (NAP-21A) | 1.8 V ± 0.1 V DC |
|---|---|
| Current consumption (NAP-21A) | 120–130 mA (1.8 V) |
| Operating temperature range | -10 °C to +50 °C |
| Storage humidity | up to 99 % RH |
| Gas sensitivity (CO₂) | 0.2 mV /% CO₂ |
| Detectable gas range (combustible gases) | 0.001 % to 1 % |
The NAP-21A sensor requires a DC supply of 1.8 V ± 0.1 V.
The sensor can operate from –10 °C up to +50 °C.
Its CO₂ sensitivity is 0.2 mV per percent CO₂ concentration.
