Common causes
- When an alarm is active, the corresponding bit for the active alarm is set in the Alarm Words. p. 113
- Each alarm has a dedicated bit allocated within Alarm Words. p. 113
- Bits remain set until the whole alarm word is reset. (Reset by writing zero to the word.) p. 113
- The control panel displays the word in hex. For example, all zeros and a 1 in Bit 0 displays as 0001. All zeros and a 1 in Bit 15 displays as 8000. p. 113
