The LIS352AX is a new small size, low-power 3- axis linear accelerometer that includes a sensing element and an IC interface capable of providing an absolute analog signal to the external world. It has a full-scale of ±2 g and is capable of measuring accelerations over a maximum bandwidth of 2.0 kHz. The self-test capability allows the user to check the functioning of the system. An embedded multiplexer allows the redirection of the analog outputs onto a single pin for operation with a single-channel A/D converter. ST is already in the field with several hundred thousand units of LIS352AX shipped for a wide range of consumer and industrial applications.

It can be used in anti-theft systems and inertial navigation, motion activated functions, vibration monitoring and compensation, tilt measurements, black boxes, and event recorders.

The FC30 is a standalone 3D orientation and click/double-click detection device from Texas Instruments. It can be used for image rotation and position-based applications.

The STMPE811 is a GPIO (general purpose input/output) port expander from STMicroelectronics that can interface a main digital ASIC via the two-line bidirectional bus (I2C). It offers great flexibility, as each I/O can be configured as input, output or specific functions. The device has been designed with very low quiescent current and includes a wakeup feature for each I/O, to optimize the power consumption of the device. A 4-wire touchscreen controller is built into the STMPE811. The touchscreen controller is enhanced with a movement tracking algorithm (to avoid excessive data), a 128 x 32 bit buffer and programmable active window feature. It can be widely used in portable media players, game consoles, mobile phones and smartphones, GPS and other fields.

LIS344ALH is an ultra compact consumer low-power three-axis linear accelerometer that includes a sensing element and an IC interface able to take the information from the sensing element and to provide an analog signal to the external world.
