In addition to the TDR scheme, commonly used for detecting faults during installation, NATIONAL’s innovative cable diagnostics scheme is also used to identify network faults.
The CLC021 is a high-integration, high-performance SMPTE 259M digital video serializer that can convert video signals to serial data formats and transmit them through serial data interfaces. The product is mainly used in high-definition video monitoring, video conferencing, and high-definition video broadcasting.
The DP83816 is a single-chip 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet Controller for the PCI bus, targeting low-cost, high volume PC motherboards, adapter cards, and embedded systems. The DP83816 fully implements the V2.2 33 MHz PCI bus interface for host communications with power management support. Packet descriptors and data are transferred via bus-mastering, reducing the burden on the host CPU. The DP83816 can support full duplex 10/100 Mb/s transmission and reception, with minimum interframe gap. The DP83816 device is an integration of an enhanced version of the National Semiconductor PCI MAC/BIU (Media Access Controller/Bus Interface Unit) and a 3.3V CMOS physical layer interface.
The ADC08231, ADC08234 and ADC08238 are 8-bit successive approximation A/D converters with serial I/O and configurable input multiplexers with up to 8 channels. The serial I/O is configured to comply with the NSC MICROWIRETM serial data exchange standard for easy interface to the COPSTM family of controllers, and can easily interface with standard shift registers or microprocessors. Designed for high-speed, low-power applications, the devices are capable of a fast 2 ms conversion when used with a 4 MHz clock. All three devices provide a 2.5V band-gap derived reference with guaranteed performance over temperature. A track-hold function allows the analog voltage at the positive input to vary during the actual A/D conversion. The analog inputs can be configured to operate in various combinations of single-ended, differential, or pseudo-differential modes. In addition, input voltage spans as small as 1V can be accommodated.
LMC6484 is a CMOS quad rail-to-rail input and output operational amplifier. It provides a wide common-mode range and excellent accuracy, making it ideal for data acquisition systems that require a large input signal range. LMC6484 is also an excellent upgrade for circuits using limited common-mode range amplifiers such as TLC274 and TLC279. It ensures maximum dynamic signal range in low voltage and single supply systems with its rail-to-rail output swing. The LMC6484's rail-to-rail output swing is guaranteed for loads down to 600Ω. Its low voltage characteristics and low power dissipation make it especially suitable for battery-operated systems.
The LM4120 is a precision low power low dropout bandgap voltage reference with up to 5 mA output current source and sink capability. This series reference operates with input voltages as low as 2V and up to 12V consuming 160 µA (Typ.) supply current. In power down mode, device current drops to less than 2 µA. The LM4120 comes in two grades (A and Standard) and seven voltage options for greater flexibility. The best grade devices (A) have an initial accuracy of 0.2%, while the standard have an initial accuracy of 0.5%, both with a tempco of 50ppm/˚C guaranteed from −40˚C to +125˚C. The very low dropout voltage, low supply current and power-down capability of the LM4120 makes this product an ideal choice for battery powered and portable applications. The device performance is guaranteed over the industrial temperature range (−40˚C to +85˚C), while certain specs are guaranteed over the extended temperature range (−40˚C to +125˚C). Please contact National for full specifications over the extended temperature range. The LM4120 is available in a standard 5-pin SOT-23 package.
The LM4926 is a ground referenced, ultra low noise, fixed gain, 80mW stereo headphone amplifier from TI. The chip utilizes a new circuit technology that uses a charge pump to generate a negative reference voltage. This allows the outputs to be biased about ground, thereby eliminating output-coupling capacitors typically used with normal single-ended loads. The LM4926 also features an Automatic Standby Mode circuitry (patent pending). When there is no input signal, after about 12 seconds, the LM4926 will enter low current standby mode. When an input signal is applied to either the left or right input pins, the LM4926 will immediately resume full power operation mode. This feature saves power supply current in battery-operated applications.
The LM4121 is a precision bandgap voltage reference available in a fixed 1.25V and adjustable version with up to 5 mA current source and sink capability. It operates with input voltages as low as 1.8V and up to 12V consuming 160 µA (Typ.) supply current. In power down mode, device current drops to less than 2 µA. The LM4121 comes in two grades A and Standard. The best grade devices (A) have an initial accuracy of 0.2%, while the standard have an initial accuracy of 0.5%, both with a tempco of 50ppm/˚C guaranteed from −40˚C to +125˚C. The very low operating voltage, low supply current and power-down capability of the LM4121 makes this product an ideal choice for battery powered and portable applications. The device performance is guaranteed over the industrial temperature range (−40˚C to +85˚C), while certain specs are guaranteed over the extended temperature range (−40˚C to +125˚C). The LM4121 is available in a standard 5-pin SOT-23 package.
