MAXIM MAX9424 MAX9427 handbook
MAX9424-MAX9427 are high-speed, low-skew quad PECL to ECL translators designed for high-speed data and clock driver applications. These devices feature an ultra-low 0.24ps(RMS) random jitter and channel-to-channel skew is less than 90ps in asynchronous mode. The four channels can be operated synchronously with an external clock, or in asynchronous mode determined by the state of the SEL input. An enable input provides the ability to force all the outputs to a differential low state. The parts differ from one another by their input and output termination options. The input options are an open input or an internal differential 100Ω termination. The output options are an open-emitter output or a series 50Ω termination. See Ordering Information. MAX9424-MAX9427 operate from a positive voltage supply of +2.375V to +5.5V, and a negative supply voltage of -2.375V to -5.5V and operate across the extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. They are offered in 32-pin 5mm x 5mm TQFP and space-saving 5mm x 5mm QFN packages. Applications include data and clock driver and buffer, central office backplane clock distribution, DSLAM backplane, base station, and ATE. Features include 0.24ps RMS Added Random Jitter, 10ps Channel-to-Channel Skew in Synchronous Mode, Guaranteed 500mV Differential Output at 3GHz Clock Frequency, 420ps Propagation Delay in Asynchronous Mode, Functionally Compatible with SK4426 (MAX9424), SK4430 (MAX9425), SK4436 (MAX9426), SK4440 (MAX9427), and Integrated Circuits.
MAXIM MAX9039 MAX9043/MAX9050 MAX9053 handbook
The MAX9039–MAX9043 and MAX9050–MAX9053 feature combinations of low-power comparators and precision voltage references. Their operating voltage range makes them ideal for both 3V and 5V systems. The MAX9039/MAX9040/MAX9041/MAX9050/MAX9051 have a single comparator and reference consuming only 40µA of supply current. The MAX9042/MAX9043/ MAX9052/MAX9053 have dual comparators and one reference, and consume only 55µA of supply current. Low-voltage operation and low supply current make these devices ideal for battery-operated systems. The comparators feature Rail-to-Rail® inputs and outputs, with a common-mode input voltage range that extends 250mV beyond the supply rails. Input bias current is typically 1.0pA, and input offset voltage is typically 0.5mV. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output switching, even with slow-moving input signals. The output stage features a unique design that limits supply current surges while switching, virtually eliminating supply glitches typical of many other comparators. This design also minimizes overall power consumption under dynamic conditions. The comparator outputs have rail-to-rail, push-pull output stages that sink and source up to 8mA. The propagation delay is 400ns, even with the low-operating supply current. The reference output voltage is set to 1.23V in the MAX9039, to 2.048V in the MAX9040–MAX9043, and to 2.500V in the MAX9050–MAX9053.
MAXIM MAX727/MAX728/MAX729 handbook
The MAX727/MAX728/MAX729 are monolithic, bipolar, pulse-width modulation (PWM), switch-mode, step-down DC-DC regulators. Each is rated at 2A. Very few external components are needed for standard operation because the power switch, oscillator, feedback, and control circuitry are all on-chip. Employing a classic buck topology, these regulators perform high-current step-down functions. These regulators have excellent dynamic and transient response characteristics, while featuring cycle-by-cycle current limiting to protect against overcurrent faults and short-circuit output faults. They also have a wide 8V to 40V input range. Each regulator is available in a 5-pin TO-220 package. These devices have a preset 100kHz oscillator frequency and a preset current limit of 2.6A. See the MAX724/ MAX726 data sheet for more applications information.
MAXIM 300MHz to 450MHz High-Efficiency Crystal-Based +13dBm ASK Transmitter MAX7044 handbook
The MAX7044 crystal-referenced phase-locked-loop (PLL) VHF/UHF transmitter is designed to transmit OOK/ASK data in the 300MHz to 450MHz frequency range. The MAX7044 supports data rates up to 100kbps, and provides output power up to +13dBm into a 50Ω load while only drawing 7.7mA at 2.7V. The crystal-based architecture of the MAX7044 eliminates many of the common problems with SAW-based transmitters by providing greater modulation depth, faster frequency settling, higher tolerance of the transmit frequency, and reduced temperature dependence. The MAX7044 also features a low supply voltage of +2.1V to +3.6V. These improvements enable better overall receiver performance when using the MAX7044 together with a superheterodyne receiver such as the MAX1470 or MAX1473. A simple, single-input data interface and a buffered clock-out signal at 1/16th the crystal frequency make the MAX7044 compatible with almost any microcontroller or code-hopping generator. The MAX7044 is available in an 8-pin SOT23 package and is specified over the -40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range.

MAXIM MAX6406 MAX6411 handbook
The MAX6406-MAX6411 is a family of ultra-low power circuits used for monitoring battery, power-supply, and regulated system voltages. Each detector contains a precision bandgap reference comparator and is trimmed to specified trip threshold voltages. These devices provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when monitoring system voltages from 2.5V to 5.0V. A manual reset input is also included. The MAX6406-MAX6411 assert a signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold. These devices are differentiated by their output logic configurations and preset threshold voltages. The MAX6406/MAX6409 (push-pull) and the MAX6408/ MAX6411 (open-drain) have an active-low output (OUT is logic low when VCC is below VTH). The MAX6407/ MAX6410 have an active-high push-pull output (OUT is logic high when VCC is below VTH). All parts are guaranteed to be in the correct output logic state for VCC down to 1V. The detector is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. The MAX6406/MAX6407/ MAX6408 have voltage thresholds between 2.20V and 3.08V in approximately 100mV increments. The MAX6409/MAX6410/MAX6411 have voltage thresholds between 3.30V and 4.63V in approximately 100mV increments. Ultra-low supply current of 500nA (MAX6406/MAX6407/ MAX6408) makes these parts ideal for use in portable equipment. These devices are available in 4-bump chip-scale packages (UCSP).
MAXIM MAX6375 MAX6380 handbook
