This document describes a method and device for accurately estimating the output power of an induction cooker using fitted current calculations.
The disclosure presents a power‑estimation method for induction cookers that gathers mains voltage, coil work‑cycle and coil current, then computes a fitted current with a pre‑set formula. The fitted current and mains voltage are used to calculate the actual output power, reducing errors caused by different pot materials.
Optional steps include measuring coil current and cycle for at least two pot materials, generating coefficient‑based fitting formulas, and adjusting IGBT parameters if the calculated power does not meet preset safety limits. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating frequency range | 25 kHz – 50 kHz |
|---|---|
| Example power rating | 1000 W |
| Average coil current with steel pot | 27.7 A |
| Average coil current with iron pot | 29 A |
The actual output power is obtained by multiplying the effective mains voltage with the fitted current (P = U_eff × I_fitted).
The IGBT’s operating parameters are adjusted until the output power satisfies the preset condition.
