About this manual

The KSC-7118 is an intelligent monitor for small‑ to medium‑size generators that protects against over‑voltage, under‑voltage and three‑phase over‑current. It uses an industrial‑grade microcontroller with high reliability, fast response and strong anti‑interference capability.

The manual provides a schematic layout, principle of operation, technical specifications, wiring diagram, step‑by‑step adjustment procedures, and installation dimensions. Default protection values are preset, and users can modify voltage, current thresholds and timing via the set key and the four‑digit display. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set the over‑voltage monitoring value?

Press the set key, use the “+” and “‑” buttons to adjust; when the first digit shows “1”, the range is 440 V ~ 550 V (default 500 V).

What are the default protection settings?

The factory defaults are: over‑voltage 500 V, detection time 1.0 s, recovery 120 s; over‑current 4 A, detection time 1.0 s, recovery 120 s; under‑voltage disabled.

How should the current transformer be connected?

Connect the secondary side (5 A) of the CT to the corresponding terminals; you may connect one, two, or three phases as needed.
