This manual covers the StowAway XTI temperature logger, including battery replacement, accuracy testing, launch procedures, and operating specifications.
The StowAway XTI is a temperature logger that features an internal sensor and a 2.5 mm jack for external TMC sensors. The device communicates at 1200 baud and supports triggered launch via a pushbutton. Battery replacement instructions are provided, noting that the 3.6 volt battery is expected to last two years but should be changed annually. When installing a new battery, it is recommended to short it for one second with a paper clip to remove high internal resistance.
