Technical datasheet for NEXTEL Velvet-Coating 811-21, a black matte anti‑glare topcoat with specifications, application guidelines and safety information.
About this manual
NEXTEL Velvet‑Coating 811‑21 is a special black topcoat designed to create matte, completely anti‑glare surfaces. It provides diffuse scattering of 98 % of incident light, a dull‑matte gloss with reflectance ≤ 2/85°, and good resistance to condensate, temperature, shock and impact.
The coating is supplied ready‑to‑use, with a recommended dry film thickness of 45‑55 µm and a theoretical coverage of 436 m² per litre. It can be applied by compressed‑air spraying, requires pre‑treated substrates, and is accompanied by extensive safety and handling instructions, including storage temperature limits (5‑35 °C) and flash point (31 °C).
