This datasheet details the ME2129, an ultra-small package CMOS step-up switching regulator with PWM/PFM control, featuring a 300kHz oscillator and output…
The ME2129 series is a CMOS step-up switching regulator designed for high efficiency and high output current applications. It integrates a reference voltage source, oscillation circuit, error amplifier, phase compensation circuit, and a PWM/PFM switching control circuit. The device switches to PFM control under light loads to prevent efficiency decline. It operates with an external low-ON-resistance N-channel power MOSFET and supports an output voltage range of 1.5V to 6.5V with an accuracy of ±2%.
| Oscillator Frequency | 300 kHz |
|---|---|
| Output Voltage Range | 1.5V ~ 6.5 V |
| Output Voltage Accuracy | ±2% |
| Soft Start Time | 2 ms |
| Operating Temperature Range | -25~+85 °C |
| Package Type | SOT-23-5 |
| Max Duty Ratio | 78 % |
The recommended inductances are 22 to 100 µH inductor for ME2129.
A Schottky diode such as IN5817 or IN5819 is suggested.
The capacitor value should be 10 µF minimum.
