This manual covers the installation, firmware flashing, driver configuration, and current adjustment for the Makerbase MKS-Gen mainboard used in 3D printers.
The Makerbase MKS-Gen is a main control board designed for 3D printers, optimized to replace Ramps1.4 boards. It features a 2560 microcontroller and supports various motor drivers including 4988, 8825, 8729, and TMC2100. The board includes interfaces for servos, auxiliary outputs (3x5V, 3x12V), and allows for external high-current driver connections. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Microcontroller | 2560 |
|---|---|
| Input Voltage Range | 12V-24V |

The board supports open-source Marlin firmware, which has a configuration identical to Ramps1.4.
For green modules, use i = vref / 0.8; for red modules, use i = vref / 1.6.
The formula is: (360 ÷ step angle) × microstepping ÷ lead.
