About this manual

The usb2Demon converts USB host commands to JTAG/BDM signals for on‑chip debugging. Power is supplied by the USB interface, so no external supply is needed, and the device automatically matches target voltages between 5.0 V and 2.2 V.

It supports a wide range of embedded processor families—including AMD, ARM, PowerPC, MIPS, and Intel XScale—and works with Windows and Linux host operating systems. Up to 255 devices can be debugged on a single scan chain, and as many as 16 usb2Demon units may be connected to one host PC.
