About this manual

The Marine Type Fire Damper is built with a high‑quality mild‑steel frame and a steel blade (3 mm) on a 12.7 mm shaft. It meets a Class A‑60 deck fire rating and complies with IMO FTP Code, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Dimensions range from a minimum 150 mm × 150 mm rectangular module up to 1000 mm × 1000 mm, with a standard depth of 200 mm.

The damper can be closed by three methods: manual operation using a lever and reset handle, electrical operation via a DC‑24 V actuator (ADS‑B101 or ADM‑B102), and activation by a thermal fuse that melts at 72 °C. The actuator provides rapid blade movement and sends confirmation signals to the control system.
