The Kulite MIC series sound pressure sensors measure 100‑194 dBA, offering low acceleration sensitivity, omnidirectional response, and high static pressure…
The MIC series from Kulite is designed for applications where conventional sound‑pressure sensors cannot operate, such as high static‑pressure or high‑temperature environments. The sensors are rugged, require no extra protection unless measuring particle‑laden fluids, and feature low acceleration sensitivity, omnidirectional measurement, compact size, flat response, wide range, high static pressure, and stable response.
Technical data include a sensitivity of –127 dB (1 V/µBar), a nominal output of 9 mV at 160 dBA, measurement range of 100‑194 dBA, mechanical resonance at 125 kHz, operating temperature from –65 °F to +250 °F, input impedance ≥1000 Ω, output impedance ≈1000 Ω, and a maximum static pressure of 25 PSI (1.7 BAR). Ordering codes follow the pattern MIC‑XXX‑(M)‑XX for the four models. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Sensitivity (reference 1 V/µBar) | -127 dB |
|---|---|
| Nominal output at 160 dBA | 9 mV |
| Measurement range | 100‑194 dBA |
| Mechanical resonance frequency | 125 kHz |
| Outer diameter (inches) | 0.066‑0.152 in |
| Operating temperature range | -65 °F to +250 °F (-55 °C to +120 °C) |
| Temperature sensitivity drift | < 0.5 dB/100 °F |

The sensors cover a sound‑pressure range from 100 dBA to 194 dBA.
They can withstand up to 25 PSI (1.7 BAR) of static pressure.
The operating temperature spans from –65 °F (–55 °C) to +250 °F (+120 °C).
