About this manual

The DR20 (Class A) and DR15 (Class B) direct pyrheliometers feature a precision‑grinded quartz window, a compact collimating tube and a black‑coated thermopile sensor. Both models include a 1 W heater (12 VDC) that suppresses dew and frost, providing high data availability with very low power consumption.

These sensors are intended for solar energy surveys, resource assessments, meteorological networks and sites prone to dew or frost. They deliver a millivolt‑range analog output and meet ISO 9060:2018 specifications, offering excellent accuracy and temperature response for vertical solar irradiance measurements.
