About this manual

The QAL 360 is a backscatter particulate emission monitor designed for measuring dust concentrations in industrial stacks. It uses ProScatter® technology to provide accurate measurements of particulate matter, with a certified range of 0–7.5 mg/m³ and the ability to detect concentrations as low as <1 mg/m³. It is compliant with EN 15267 and EN 14181 standards and offers features such as automatic contamination checks, purge flow fail sensors, and manual and remote zero/span checks.

The device is suitable for use in a variety of industrial applications, including incineration, combustion, power, cement, and metal smelting processes. It can be configured as a standalone unit (QAL 360c) or with a control unit (QAL 360s) for multi-sensor networks up to 32 sensors. The QAL 360 is non-intrusive, with no measurement components protruding into the stack, and features an optical shield to reduce contamination risk.
