The Diseccon Technology HDMI Fixture is a test fixture supporting HDMI 1.4a/2.0/2.1 up to 8K resolution with 50Ω±5% impedance and low insertion loss.
The HDMI Fixture from Diseccon Technology is designed for testing HDMI Type‑A (STD) connectors. It fully complies with HDMI 1.4a, 2.0 and 2.1 specifications and supports video resolutions from 480p up to 8K at various refresh rates. Key features include superior impedance consistency (50Ω±5%), extremely low insertion loss, channel skew less than ±2 ps, and a high‑performance detachable SMA connector compatible with 2.92 mm and 3.5 mm SMA types. The fixture provides SI performance up to 12 Gbps, meeting the HDMI 2.1 protocol.
The test board uses a clamped‑plate HDMI connector with SMA heads to route ten signal lines as microstrip traces (3450 mil length) without any holes, maintaining a controlled 50 Ω impedance. Calibration lines (1× and 2×) are provided for accurate measurements. Testing is performed with a Keysight E5071C network analyzer, measuring S‑parameters such as S11 (≈‑30 dB at 8.5 GHz) and S12 to verify performance across the required frequency range.
