User manual for the Global Ocean Argo Data Set V3.0, describing data sources, format, quality control and usage instructions.
The Global Ocean Argo Data Set V3.0 (1997‑2019) is compiled by the China Argo Real-time Data Center. It contains core Argo profiles (temperature, salinity, pressure) and biogeochemical observations (oxygen, chlorophyll, etc.) collected from more than 15,000 autonomous profiling floats worldwide.
The manual explains how the data are sourced, the NetCDF and ASCII file formats, recommended MATLAB tools for reading the files, and the quality‑control procedures applied to ensure reliable scientific use. This manual is written in Chinese.

The data set can be downloaded for free from ftp://ftp.argo.org.cn/pub/ARGO/global/.
Core Argo data are stored in the “core” directory and biogeochemical data in the “bgc” directory on the FTP server.
