The B&K Precision 894/895 LCR Meter offers 0.05% accuracy, up to 1 MHz frequency range, and multiple interfaces for automated testing.
About this manual
The B&K Precision 894 and 895 are high‑accuracy LCR meters that measure inductance, capacitance, resistance and related parameters from 20 Hz up to 500 kHz (894) or 1 MHz (895). They feature a 4.3‑inch TFT color display, adjustable AC test signal voltage (5 mVrms‑2 Vrms), selectable AC current ranges, and a built‑in DC bias source (-5 V to +5 V, -50 mA to +50 mA) for advanced component testing.
The meters provide USB, LAN, RS‑232 and optional GPIB (895 only) interfaces for remote control via SCPI commands, as well as a 36‑pin handler interface for automated test systems. Standard accessories include Kelvin‑clip test leads, a 4‑terminal fixture and a shorting bar, with optional transformer test fixture TL89T1 for transformer measurements.
