This document is the first part of a technical service manual for the 6-speed automatic transmission (model 09E) used in the Audi A8 03. Developed in cooperation with ZF, this transmission replaces the previous 5-speed models (01V and 01L) and features a Lepelletier planetary gear set to achieve a wide gear ratio range of 6.04.
