This manual describes the features and procedures for using the ABS Engineering Manager 2 web application to manage review projects and drawings.
The Engineering Manager 2 is a web application used by ABS customers to collaborate with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) in managing review projects. Accessed via the MyFreedom Portal, it provides project visibility and open communication to speed up project approval turnaround times. The application allows users to navigate through active and completed projects, manage drawings, handle transmittals, and track comments.
Projects can only be created by ABS personnel.
Users can search by Vessel Name, Project, Reference No., Transmittal, Customer Reference Number, and/or Drawing Number / Title.
An Oversight Customer is any ABS Customer who is granted access to projects through Engineering Manager by a Submitter.
