This document introduces the S3C2410A SD/MMC card interface circuit and SD/MMC card block driver of Guangzhou Zhiyuan Electronics Co., Ltd. The product is a high-capacity, cost-effective, small-sized, and easy-to-access storage card, suitable for portable devices such as digital cameras, MP3 players, and mobile phones.
The manual describes the hardware connection of the S3C2410A SD/MMC controller. It shows how to wire the SDATA and SDCMD lines with pull‑up resistors, use EINT18 for card‑insertion detection, and GPH8 for write‑protect detection. The circuit diagram and pin definitions are provided for direct connection to an SD card socket.
It also explains the Linux driver architecture: the zlg_fs.ko generic block driver and the mmc2410.ko low‑level driver, their source files, module loading order, device node creation, and mounting procedures. Sample scripts for creating nodes and loading the driver are included. This manual is written in Chinese.
| SD block size | 512 bytes |
|---|---|
| Maximum SD/MMC clock frequency | 20 MHz |
| Number of supported block devices | 4 |
| Maximum partitions per block device | 16 |
| Interrupt enable for SD/MMC | Enabled (1) |
Use the mknod command, for example: `mknod /dev/zlg_fsa b 200 1` to create the first block device node.
First load `zlg_f.ko`, then load `mmc2410.ko`. To unload, reverse the order.
Each SD/MMC data block is 512 bytes.
The driver limits the SD/MMC clock to 20 MHz.
