This document introduces the material characteristics, application areas, and technical specifications of the TLP862(F), TLP866(F), and TLP867(F) models produced by Toshiba.
The TLP862(F), TLP866(F) and TLP867(F) are compact photointerrupters that integrate a GaAs infrared LED and a high‑sensitivity silicon phototransistor. They are intended for low‑power circuits and are lead‑free, making them suitable for VTRs, CD players, copiers, printers, vending machines and various position‑detection applications. The devices are supplied in two mounting styles: a screw‑type (TLP862(F)) and a surface‑mount type (TLP866(F) and TLP867(F)).
Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of about 1.0 V at 10 mA, a reverse current of 10 µA, a peak emission wavelength of 940 nm, and a maximum collector current of 40 mA. The photointerrupters operate from –25 °C to 85 °C, have a polycarbonate case, and can dissipate up to 75 mW. Detailed pin‑out, mechanical dimensions, switching times and detection‑position curves are provided for precise system design. This manual is written in Japanese.
| Forward voltage (V_F) at I_F=10 mA | 1.00 – 1.30 V |
