Open the battery compartment, insert four AA (5号) 1.5 V batteries, then turn on the power switch; the LCD will display the current temperature and humidity.
Press the Menu key, use the / key to select the desired interval (15 s, 30 s, 1 min, 3 min, or cancel), then press Enter to confirm the setting.
The meter measures temperatures from –20 °C to 60 °C.
