About this manual

The T950 tape library offers high‑density storage with up to 100 tape slots in the base configuration and the ability to expand to more than 10,000 slots. It supports mixed media types such as LTO, SAIT, SDLT and RXT, and includes features like WORM, redundancy, and integrated encryption.

Management is handled through the BlueScale interface, which provides encryption, lifecycle management, energy monitoring, hardware health monitoring (HHM), and remote support via SpectraGuard. The system can be controlled locally via a front‑panel LCM or remotely through a web‑based interface and iSCSI over Fibre Channel or Gigabit Ethernet. This manual is written in Japanese.
