This datasheet introduces the features, functions, applications, peripheral circuits, package forms and electrical characteristics of the XF-S3011 Chinese speech synthesis chip of iFLYTEK.
About this manual
The XF‑S3011 speech synthesis chip from iFlytek integrates a complete TTS system into a single QFP44 package, enabling embedded devices to convert arbitrary Chinese text (and English letters) into natural‑sounding audio. It is targeted at applications such as automotive GPS, telephone, attendance machines, POS terminals, smart instruments, toys and vending machines.
Key features include support for GB2312 and Unicode encodings, intelligent text analysis for numbers, dates and units, built‑in music and prompt sounds, UART communication at 9600 bps, two 10‑bit DAC audio outputs, a wide operating voltage (2.6‑5.5 V), and a reset pin with defined timing. The datasheet provides pin definitions, electrical limits, and example peripheral circuits. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions
What communication interface does the XF‑S3011 use?
The chip communicates via a UART serial interface at 9600 bps.
How can the chip’s operating status be queried?
Status can be read from the RDY pin (low = idle, high = synthesizing) or via UART feedback messages.
Which text encodings are supported for synthesis?
The chip supports GB2312 and Unicode encodings for Chinese text.
