MAT2 is a surge protector for protecting the power lines of electronic devices from lightning surges. It supports single phase 2 wire, single phase 3 wire, three phase 3 wire, three phase 4 wire, and the discharge current is 20 kA and 40 kA (8/20 μs).
The MAT2 lightning arrester (M-RESTER series) protects equipment from surge currents up to 20 kA or 40 kA (8/20 µs). It includes built‑in thermal protection that quickly disconnects the line when over‑current is detected, with status LEDs indicating normal and fault conditions.\n\nThe manual details electrical ratings (250 VAC 1 A, 24 V DC 1 A), IP20 enclosure, operating temperature –5 °C to +55 °C, and connection methods using M5 screw terminals. Physical dimensions, terminal assignments, and wiring diagrams for single‑phase and three‑phase configurations are also provided. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Rated voltage (AC) | 240 V / 440 V |
|---|---|
| Rated current (AC) | 1 A |
| Rated current (DC) | 1 A |
| Surge current (Model M) | 20 kA (8/20 µs) |
| Surge current (Model H) | 40 kA (8/20 µs) |
The MAT2 provides a surge current rating of 20 kA for the M version and 40 kA for the H version (8/20 µs).
The device uses M5 screw terminals for both line and ground connections, with a tightening torque of 2.5 Nm.
