McAfee VirusScan is a virus protection software that protects your computer from viruses and spyware. VirusScan is configured and managed through McAfee® SecurityCenter™. This Quick Start Guide will help you learn how to get started, how to access the product, new features and how to use them, and how to stay secure.
The guide provides step‑by‑step instructions for installing VirusScan from a CD or from the McAfee website, and shows how to launch the SecurityCenter console after installation.
It also describes new features such as one‑click scan and update, PC health and performance tools, email/IM and spam protection, SiteAdvisor, Network Manager, EasyNetwork, and Shredder, and explains how to use each function. This manual is written in Chinese.

Insert the product CD into the drive; the McAfee installation screen appears automatically, or run D:\SETUP.EXE manually.
Open SecurityCenter and click the Scan button to start a manual scan.
In SecurityCenter click the Update button; ensure the computer is connected to the Internet.
