AFCONA -5030 is a cationic wetting and dispersing agent designed to improve the wetting of carbon black, organic and inorganic pigments, and the surface of organically treated bentonite. It is compatible with a wide range of systems from low to high polarity and is recommended for polyurethane leather, acrylic, alkyd, polyester amino and polyamide ink systems.
The product appears as a yellow‑to‑light‑brown transparent liquid with 50‑54% active content and is supplied in 25 kg or 180 kg non‑reusable iron drums. Store in a cool, dry place; unopened drums have a five‑year shelf life. Recommended dosage is 0.5‑5 % of inorganic pigment weight, 20‑30 % of organic pigment weight, and 25‑40 % of carbon black weight.
