The Dell Networking W-AP228 Wireless Access Point is a ruggedized dual radio wireless access point (AP) for extreme temperatures and indoor waterproofing to the IEEE 802.11ac standard. This access point provides 802.11ac functionality at both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and concurrent support for legacy 802.11a/b/g/n wireless services, using Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology and other high-performance transmission techniques. The W-AP228 access point operates only in conjunction with a Dell Networking W-Series controller.
