SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF BEAN ROOT ROT (Aphelenchoides besseyi CHRISTIE) IN THE FIELD
ABSTRACT: The objective of the present work was to determine the spatial distribution of bean root rot in the field. The research was carried out between May and July 2009 in the communities of Veracruz de Pérez Zeledón, San José and Concepción de Buenos Aires, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. For this, the incidence of the disease per sowing point was evaluated in two bean plots coming from different rotations (rice/bean and corn/bean), with which, subsequently, the spatial distribution of the disease in the field was determined by means of a d analysis
