UTC3842 Bipolar Linear Integrated Circuit

The UTC3842 is a fixed-frequency PWM control circuit specifically designed for offline DC-DC converters with minimal external components. The IC incorporates a trimmed oscillator for precise duty cycle control, a temperature-compensated reference, high-gain error amplifier, current-sense comparator, and a high-current totem-pole output to drive a power MOSFET. Internal protection circuitry includes an undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and current limiting.
